  1. New York City kids ages 5+ are eligible to receive $100 if they get vaccinated against COVID-19 at a city-run site, the mayor announced. (NYC Patch)
  2. In other vaccine news, almost a week after the mandate on city workers went into effect, NYC has struck a deal with four municipal unions to stop protesting the mandate and allow unvaccinated workers to keep their health insurance through June 2022. This comes as 92% of the workforce has gotten at least one shot. (NYC Patch)

  4. Bodega and small grocery store owners are worried about the recent encroachment of 15-minute delivery app services such as Fridge No More and Gorrillas, that they fear will take away from their business. So far only Fridge No More operates in Sunset Park. (Brownstoner)
