77-Year-Old Driver Dies Days After Head-On Crash In Woodbury
The driver collided head-on with another car on the night of July 17, police said. He later died at a hospital. Three women were also hurt.
WOODBURY, NY — A 77-year-old man has died from injuries he suffered in a crash earlier this month in Woodbury.
Shahriar Manssuri was driving on Woodbury Road near Piquets Lane around 8 p.m. on Friday, July 17, when he collided head-on with another car. Mansurri was taken to a hospital with injuries and died around 9 p.m. Saturday.
A 27-year-old woman who was driving the other car was hurt, as were two women who were passengers, ages 56 and 65. All three suffered multiple trauma injuries and were hospitalized for treatment.
