Crashes Close Lanes on Long Island Expressway

SYOSSET, NY – Multiple crashes have closed lanes on the Long Island Expressway in Nassau County Sunday night.

Both the westbound HOV and left lanes are closed at Exit 43 in Syosset due to a crash, Nassau Police said. Police have not said if anyone was injured in that crash.

In Jericho, another crash on the westbound LIE between exits 40E and 39 has the left lanes blocked. There were reported injuries in that crash.
