Disney Magic Comes to Syosset-Woodbury Park

Disney fans can "wish upon a star" at "Music Under the Stars" Friday.

The music of Walt Disney films will be featured when the town's free concert series comes to Syosset-Woodbury Park.

The show called "Around the World with Disney," gets underway at 8p.m. It features Dean Karahalis and the Concert Pops Orchestra.

They will perform while clips from Disney films are projected on a movie screen.

Concert Pops was founded by Karahalis in 1983. He is the conductor and music director. They have performed throughout the east coast inclusing performances at the United States Figure Skating Championships and with the U.S. Airforce band.

They perform often in the Town of Oyster Bay including Town's annual Holiday Concert in December.
