Northwell Health nurses at 3 Long Island hospitals authorize strike without deal by Dec. 31 (newsday.com) — Nurses at Syosset Hospital have authorized a strike if no new contract is reached with Northwell Health by Dec. 31, citing unsafe staffing and heavy workloads.
