The ticket was a second-place winner for the New York LOTTO drawing, and is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

SYOSSET, NY — A lottery ticket worth hundreds of thousands of dollars was sold in Syosset recently.
A second-prize ticket for the Jan. 11 New York LOTTO drawing was sold at the BP gas station located on South Oyster Bay Road. The ticket is worth a whopping $229,784.
The winning numbers for the Jan. 11 drawing were 21-25-31-43-45-54 and Bonus Number 32. The second-place ticket matched five of the six numbers and the bonus number.

With no first prize winning ticket sold, the jackpot for Saturday's drawing has been increased to $16.6 million.
The ticket can be claimed up to a year from the date of the drawing.
