Pedestrian Hit By 3 Vehicles In Nassau Dies Wednesday Morning: Police

He was struck by multiple cars, Nassau County police say.

JERICHO, NY — A 43-year-old pedestrian was killed on Wednesday morning after he was struck by three different vehicles, according to Nassau County police.

The man was walking eastbound on the north service road of the Long Island Expressway in the vicinity of Open Street when he was struck by a 2023 Mazda, operated by a 79-year-old man, at 6:06 a.m., police said.

He was then struck by a 2021 Alfa Romeo operated by a 48-year-old man and a 2014 Mazda operated by a 40-year-old woman, police said.

The pedestrian died at the scene, police said.

All drivers remained at the scene. No charges were filed, and the investigation is ongoing, NCPD said.
