Police Looking For Third Teen Missing From Mercy First Facility

Police say 15-year-old Amya Johnson was last seen leaving the facility Sunday night. Do you know where she is?

SYOSSET, NY — Nassau County police are searching for a third teenage girl who went missing from the Mercy First group home in Syosset.

Police say 15-year-old Amya Johnson was last seen leaving the facility, located at 525 Convent Road, at 7:46 p.m. on Jan. 23. She was reported missing on Jan. 25.

Johnson is a black girl, 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Police do not know what clothes she was wearing when she left, nor do they know where she may be heading.

On Jan. 22, Katrice Taylor-Concave and Kamiyah Cohen, both 14, were seen leaving the facility together.

Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of the girls to call the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
