Police Searching For 3 Runaway Teens From Syosset Group Home
The three were all reported missing Tuesday night, but were last seen at different times and going in different directions.
SYOSSET, NY — Nassau County police are looking for three teens who ran away from a group home in Syosset Tuesday night.
All three teens were reported missing from Mercy First at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, but were last seen at different times.
The first was Raymond Brown, who was last seen at 7:30 p.m. running out of the building, climbing the fence around the campus and running off in an unknown direction. Brown is a black boy, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with a short afro and brown eyes. Police do not have a description of his clothing, and do not know where he was going.

The second teen is 14-year-old Angelina Arias, who was last seen by an employee of Mercy First at 9:45 p.m. running off the property and heading in an unknown direction. Arias is a Hispanic girl, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 125 pounds, with long wavy black hair and brown eyes, with a medium complexion. Police do not know where she was going or what she was wearing.
The third teen is 13-year-old Antanajasha Alo, who was last seen at 9 p.m. boarding a train at the Syosset LIRR station. Alo is a Hispanic girl, 5 feet tall and about 120 pounds, with medium length black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and multi-colored pants. Police do not know her destination.

Mercy First is a home that "responds to the complex needs of traumatized and neglected children, youth with serious emotional problems, teens and young adults without families who must learn to make their own way as adults," according to its website.
Police are asking anyone with information about any of these missing teens to call the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
