Search Is On For Nassau Gas Station Robber: Police
Police say the man said he had a gun as he robbed a Nassau gas station. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to come forward.

SYOSSET, NY — Nassau County police identified the man they say robbed a Syosset gas station on Feb. 13, and they're seeking the public's help to find him.
The man entered the BP gas station located at 200 South Oyster Bay Road at 1:58 a.m. on Feb. 13, police said. He had his right hand in his jacket pocket and implied he had a gun as he approached the clerk and demanded money, according to police. The clerk gave him cash and multiple boxes of cigarettes, then the man fled, police said.
Police say an investigation identified the robber as Jose A. Nieves, 28. He is a Hispanic man, 6 feet tall with a medium build and a light complexion. He has brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, camo jacket, black pants and white sneakers. Police say he has three last known addresses, in Levittown, Long Beach and Uniondale.
