SUNY Old Westbury Dropped From List To House Migrants
This would have been the first time migrants received shelter in Nassau County since Title 42 expired earlier this month.

OLD WESTBURY, NY — Migrants will not be getting shelter at SUNY Old Westbury.
Governor Hochul had sent inspectors to check out the campus to see if it was suitable to house migrants.
However, Michael Kinane, the school's vice president of communications and college relations told Patch that their campus was assessed for use and, "We were informed late this morning that SUNY Old Westbury will not be included should any use of SUNY property occur in relation to this issue."

It would have been the first migrants from Mexico to arrive in Nassau County since Title 42 expired earlier this month. On Monday, County Executive Bruce Blakeman announced would not participate in any sanctuary programs in Nassau.
