Syosset Gas Station Robbed In Early Morning Hours

The robber claimed he had a gun and then stole money from the register, police said.

SYOSSET, NY — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Syosset gas station early Monday morning.

According to police, a man entered the convenience store of the BP station located at 200 South Oyster Bay Road at 1:57 a.m. The man had his hand in his pocket, and told the 23-year-old employee he had a gun.

The employee gave the man money, and he fled in an unknown direction.

The robber was 6 feet tall with an average build, wearing a black ski mask.

Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
