Syosset Jewelry Store Thief Caught On Camera
Police captured a surveillance photo of the alleged thief. Do you recognize him?

Police released a surveillance photo of a man who authorities say stole a piece of jewelry worth $1,400 from a Syosset jewelry store on Thursday.
According to authorities, the man entered Garco Jewelry, located at 334 Jericho Turnpike, and asked to see a pair of stud earrings at 12:30 p.m. Police say he then ripped the display stand containing the earrings from a 70-year-old employee's hands and fled out the front door in an unknown direction.
The woman was not injured.

Police described the man as white, 52-55 years old, 6 feet tall, wearing a baseball cap and a dark-colored jacket.
The man is wanted for grand larceny.
