SYOSSET, NY — Voters in the Syosset Central School District took to the polls today and approved the district's proposed 2022-23 budget.
The budget passed 1,651 to 898.
In addition to the budget, residents also cast votes for Board of Education trustees. Incumbet Thomas Rotolo was reelected with 1,428. Newcomers Lynn Abramson and Jock Ostrick were also elected to the board, with 1,128 and 1,256 votes, respectively.

Challengers Court Cousins, Jason Guo and Steven Ricco earned 1,018, 872 and 707 votes, respectively.
