Syosset Student-Athletes Commit To College

Twelve students signed their letters of intent at the Syosset High School National Athlete Commitment Day earlier this month.

Syosset High School National Athlete Commitment Day was held on Thursday November 15, 2018, when it was announced that twelve Syosset student-athletes will play sports at the collegiate level.

Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Drew Cronin and boys varsity lacrosse coach John Calabria hosted the event, during which students signed letters of intent and proudly donned caps from the postsecondary institutions they will be attending.

Remarked Coach Calabria, “There’s nothing like the experience of being a collegiate athlete. Each of these young men and women have been leaders in their respective sports, and now it’s time to take what they’ve learned to the collegiate level and make us proud here at Syosset High School.”
