Voter's Guide: Jericho 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election

​What you need to know for election day.

Those who reside within the area of Jericho schools will vote on the district's $122,653,735 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.

The proposal calls for a 0.01 percent decrease in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 0.0 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.

Two candidates are running unopposed for two open seats on the Jericho Board of Education. They are incumbents William Ferro and Daborah Lee, according to Newsday.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the middle school/high school auditorium.
