Long Island Nursing Home Ordered To Install Independent Monitor: Report
The owners of the home were ordered to pay more than $2 million in restitution to the facility, according to a report.
WOODBURY, NY — The owners of the Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation were ordered to pay more than $2 million in restitution to the facility, as well as install an independent health care monitor for patient care, a judge ruled, Newsday reported. The nursing home operator and state attorney general's office had been embroiled in a lawsuit.
