1 Killed, 4 Injured In Shooting At Syracuse's Armory Square

At least 5 shots rang out near Al's Wine and Whisky Lounge shortly after midnight Saturday morning, according to a report.

SYRACUSE, NY — One person was killed and four others injured in an early-morning shooting in Syracuse's Armory Square, according to multiple reports.

Multiple shots rang out shortly after midnight Saturday near Al's Wine and Whisky Lounge and DP Dough, Syracuse.com reported. Five people were hit by gunfire, police told the publication.

All the victims were taken to the hospital, where one — a 24-year-old man — was pronounced dead, according to Syracuse.com. One victim is in critical condition and three others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police released a possible description of the suspect — male, 20-30 years old, wearing a green hat and shorts.
