Growing its commercial lending team and expertise, <a href="https://www.tompkinsbank.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Tompkins Community Bank (Tompkins)</a> announced the addition of David Patz as a new commercial banking relationship manager in its Central New York market. Patz brings over two decades of excellence in advising clients on commercial lending, cash management, investments and risk management. In this role, Patz will advise Tompkins&rsquo; clients on growth strategies for both business and real estate.

Patz comes to Tompkins from Key Bank, where he served as a business banking relationship manager, working with companies with loan requests and revenues between $1 million and $30 million in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions. Patz&rsquo;s experience also includes roles with the Small Business Development Center, NVP Associates, and U.S. Department of Treasury. He is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and the American Bankers Association. 
Patz earned a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance from Ithaca College and a master's degree in real estate from Cornell University. In addition to his professional work, he was a past board member at the Ithaca Community Childcare Center, Child Development Council and Commons Advisory Board. Patz currently resides in Ithaca, New York.
