Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Names Their June 2023 EOM

Bishop Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on James Street in Syracuse is congratulating Ms. Nadeah Jenkins, a highly-respected and well-loved social worker, who has been named the June 2023 Employee of the Month. Nadeah has been at Bishop Center for only seven months and the residents and families who she works with think the world of her.

"Ever since Nadeah came to us late last year, she has been a shining star in so many ways," said Administrator Jon Balin. "The families and residents she works with praise her and say all great things. We are so blessed to have Naheah here with us."

A graduate of SUNY Albany in 2019, Nadeah came to Bishop from Loretto Health and Rehabilitation as a social worker assistant and home health aide where she started in January 2021. She attributes her work at Loretto as a solid stepping stone to where she is now at Bishop these days.

"I always want to be there for my residents and their families," said Ms. Jenkins. "Many people who are residents here at Bishop don't have families and they feel they are alone in this world. I always stress to them that we are their family and that is exactly what we become to them and for others here."
