Student Stabbed At Syracuse High School; Lockdown Reported

SYRACUSE, NY — Fowler High School in Syracuse was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a student was stabbed in the abdomen, according to multiple reports.

A 17-year-old student was taken to a nearby hospital following the stabbing at the South Geddes Street school, Syracuse.com reported. The teen was reportedly "bleeding profusely" when emergency crews arrived at the school just before 9:40 a.m.

Syracuse police are still at the school investigating the stabbing, CNY Central reported.

No suspects have been identified. The extent of the student's injuries is also unknown, according to Syracuse.com.
