Kimberlee Garver, a pediatric social worker with Upstate’s Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, has been named winner of the CURE (Caring, Understanding, Relationship, Education) Award from the Central New York Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Garver received the honor at the foundation’s Feb. 10 annual meeting.

The CURE Award recognizes a care team member who goes above and beyond in the areas of caring, understanding, relationship and education. Care team members include numerous individuals assigned to care for children with CF, such as, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, pharmacists, social workers and researchers.
Garver joined Upstate in 2003 and previously worked in the Emergency Department and the Center for Development, Behavior, and Genetics.
