A complaint of animal neglect lead Sleepy Hollow police officers and SPCA officials to investigate a house on Pocantico Street recently. Â
An officer responded to a Pocantico Street residence with SPCA officials on a follow up to a complaint of animal neglect. Upon police arrival on May 6 just before 3 p.m., they reported finding a fenced in area that housed a dog.
The area reportedly had feces and broken up boards on the ground. Â
An order to comply was left at the residence for unsanitary conditions. SPCA officers would follow up in a week.
