Bear Spotted In Greenburgh Over The Weekend
The town supervisor is warning parents to tell their children to be careful on Halloween.
GREENBURGH, NY — Town officials in Greenburgh are warning parents to tell their children to be careful on Halloween because a bear was spotted roaming the area Sunday.
Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said he received a post Sunday that the bear was seen on Fraydun Lane Saturday and Sunday.
He said the bear is roaming around the neighborhood on the border of Ardsley, Ridge Road and Underhill.

The person reporting it said the bear is likely in the woods, and the animal got into many garbage cans over the weekend. It also overturned patio furniture.
