The Case Of The Curious Cockapoo Has A Happy Ending, Thanks To Police

GREENBURGH, NY — A dog that let curiosity get the better of itself, got a helping hand from some helpful friends in blue.

On Monday, officers from the Town of Greenburgh Police Department responded to help a homeowner whose dog was trapped beneath a backyard shed. The pup, a cockapoo, had chased another animal underneath the structure, but was unable to make its way back out.

Working together, officers carefully rescued the dog. The adventurous puppy is now safe and sound back with its family — and hopefully a bit wiser for the experience.
