Cocaine, 'Brass Knuckles,' And Resisting Arrest On I-87: NYSP

ARDSLEY, NY — A Westchester County traffic stop led to a slew of felonies after the driver kept making things worse for himself, according to troopers.
On April 24, shortly before midnight, state police stopped a BMW X5 traveling northbound on Interstate 87, in the village of Ardsley.
Troopers would end up arresting 34-year-old Jeikob Javier Guzman, of the Bronx, for criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.

While engaging with the driver, police say Guzman was seen throwing a clear plastic bag containing a white substance down the embankment of the road.
An investigation determined that Guzman was in possession of 18 grams of cocaine and metal knuckles, according to police.

Guzman was taken to Tarrytown for processing and was arraigned in the Town of Greenburgh Court.
