Elmsford's Newest Business Will Celebrate Grand Opening With Tastings

Ultimate Wine & Spirits owners envision a shop where every customer will be treated like family and a shared passion can be cultivated.

ELMSFORD, NY — Your chance to raise a glass to Elmsford's newest business is almost here.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner announced that there is a new business in town, Ultimate Wine & Spirits, located at 310 Saw Mill River Road, in Elmsford, next to the new ShopRite complex.

The new business will be holding its grand opening celebration this Saturday, from noon to 5 p.m., and the whole community is invited. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 1 p.m. There will be free tastings all day, along with free merchandise (t-shirts, hats, cups, sunglasses, tote bags).

The new owners, Brittney and Zahid Mahir, who are alumni of Pace University, said they simply fell in love with the charm of Elmsford/Greenburgh and decided that was where they wanted to open their own shop. They say that Ultimate Wine and Spirits will be a special business where passion and expertise converge in the heart of Elmsford.

As a women- and family-owned establishment, the Mahirs said that they're delighted to curate a collection that blends tradition and innovation. They say that their shelves carry a diverse array of fine wines and spirits from around the world, with each bottle carefully selected for its quality and uniqueness.
