Facebook Fans Respond to Tarrytown KFC Proposal

While opposition to a plan to build a Kentucky Fried Chicken drive-thru in Tarrytown seems to be growing, some locals on the Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow Facebook page say having a new fast food restaurant in town might not be such a terrible thing.

Community members had the chance to speak out on the Wildley Group’s proposal Monday night at a public hearing held by the Tarrytown Planning Board. 

Since word about the plan, to build the drive-thru at the corner dollar store of the Tarrytown Centre complex, got out— a petition asking the planning board to nix the proposal and even a website was also created.
