ELMSFORD, NY — The FBI will soon have an oversized presence in Westchester County (but only through the magic of television).
The Motel 6 in Elmsford will serve as the set for the popular CBS show, "FBI." If you see some suspicious activity at the property, there's a good chance it's just a late season plot twist.
Crews will begin prepping for filming on Wednesday Nov. 13, from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. Filming will take place until about 9 p.m.

"Every year major films and TV series are filmed right here in Elmsford, starring big name actors and actresses," Elmsford Mayor Robert Williams said in a statement on social media. "These filming days have proven to be beneficial to the village and to businesses in Elmsford. The movie company pays a permit fee to the village, if needed they also pay for police for traffic etc. They pay to use the facility they are filming at, and they shop at many Elmsford businesses for food and supplies for the filming. Many of the crew have returned to Elmsford after the filming to do business with a business they saw, or did business with while here. Plus when you go to see the movie, or watch the show on TV, you can say, that scene was filmed in Elmsford. You should stop by to see what goes into filming a scene."
The popular show, from television legend Dick Wolf and the team behind the "Law & Order" franchise, follows the inner workings of the New York office of the FBI. Starring Zeeko Zaki, Missy Peregrym and Katherine Renee Turner, the program takes us along as elite special agents investigate cases from terrorism to organized crime and counterintelligence.
