TARRYTOWN, NY — Spring 2025 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is almost here and a record number of Hudson Valley restaurants are participating.
In Westchester alone, more than 70 establishments are setting the table for the twice-a-year event.
The kickoff celebration was held on Thursday at The Sailhouse, located on the Hudson River waterfront. Attendees had the opportunity to sample the restaurant's contemporary American menu, including lobster roll, braised short ribs, crispy fish tacos and tuna crispy rice.

Afterwards, guests were able to tour the nearby historic Tarrytown Lighthouse, located in Sleepy Hollow along the Riverwalk. Built in 1883, the sparkplug lighthouse underwent a full restoration and is a new tourist attraction.

"The Tarrytown Lighthouse reopened for tours this past fall after the completion of a years-long restoration capital project," Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said. "The tours were in high-demand and were met with rave reviews from attendees. It truly is a one-of-a-kind gem in Westchester, and I encourage residents and visitors to sign up for the free tours when they return in April."
For two delicious weeks, from March 31 through April 13, the Hudson Valley will be celebrating restaurant dining with delicious, creative dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients. Prix-fixe lunches and dinners will be offered at $24.95, $29.95, $39.95 or $44.95. (Pricing does not include tax, beverages, or gratuity.) Prix-fixe menus may be offered for both dine-in and takeout.
"Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is a favorite event here in Westchester. It's a time when our vibrant culinary scene comes alive with creativity, community and flavor," Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said. "Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting for the first time, I encourage everyone to make reservations, explore new menus, try unique outdoor dining experiences, and enjoy the best of what our region has to offer — it's a great way to support the small businesses and dedicated restaurateurs who make Westchester such a delicious and dynamic place to live."
There are a few newcomers to Restaurant Week this spring in addition to The Sailhouse in Tarrytown, including Inca & Guacho in White Plains, La Crémaillère in Bedford, Olibar Peruvian Cuisine in New Rochelle, and Scalini Osteria in Bronxville.
"Spring is such a wonderful time to explore Westchester's attractions and experience a delicious meal," Westchester County Tourism & Film Director Natasha Caputo said. "We encourage both residents and visitors to make their reservations and get out and dine. The Sailhouse is a perfect example of what Hudson Valley Restaurant Week in Westchester is all about, offering a feast for the senses with its fresh, local ingredients, live music, and majestic sunsets."
