Hurray For Hollywood: Hastings Maltese Wins Toy Group At Dog Show

The 3-year-old is known as Hollywood and is owned by Dragica Hunter and Tammy Simon.

Hollywood, who is from Hastings-on-Hudson, won in the toy group Tuesday at the 146th annual Westminster Kennel Club being held at the Lyndhurst Estate in Tarrytown.

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY — A white, female Maltese from Hastings-on-Hudson took home the top prize in the toy group at Tuesday's Westminster Kennel Club dog show.

GCHB CH Ta-Jon's Walk of Fame, as the pooch is officially known, will be competing for Best in Show Wednesday at the 146th annual dog show which is being held at Tarrytown's Lyndhurst Estate.

The 3-year-old is known as Hollywood and was handled by Tim Lehman. She is owned by Dragica Hunter and Tammy Simon. Hollywood was bred by Diana Egnor and Simon.

There were 405 other dogs competing in the toy group with the long-haired Maltese. The category was judged by Rosalind Kramer.

Westminster's Best in Show competition will be shown live at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on FS1.
