I-87 Ramps To Saw Mill River Parkway Weekend Closures Planned

The NYSDOT said the ramp closures will take place from early Saturday to late Sunday, for maintenance work.

GREENBURGH, NY — If you're on the roads in the Hudson Valley, this weekend might not be as relaxing as you hoped.

The Interstate 87 northbound ramp to Exit 7A (Saw Mill River Parkway northbound) and the Interstate 87 southbound ramp to Exit 8A (Saw Mill River Parkway northbound) in Elmsford will be closed on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 for ramp maintenance work, according to the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).

The work is scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. on Saturday and 10 p.m. on Sunday, weather permitting.

Drivers should follow the posted detour signs for alternate routes.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
