SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — The inaugural Sleepy Hollow Music Festival is already creating a buzz, even before the first musicians take the stage.
The first-ever Sleepy Hollow Music Festival is this Saturday, at Kingsland Point Park.
Headliners Joan Osborne and John Popper, who will perform as part of the The Nightingale All-Stars, lead an impressive lineup.

But, believe it or not, there's almost as much fun planned offstage as there is under the stage lights.
Beekman Ale House will be operating a beer tent for those 21 and up. Food trucks, tents and vendors for shopping will be also be available.
Kids are welcome and free with a ticketed adult. There will be special activities for kids and even an appearance by the headless horseman, with a guitar in hand, to add to the fun.
There will even be Paddleboarding, run by @rivertownssupyoga.
"We're thrilled to host the inaugural Sleepy Hollow Music Festival during our Village's 150th Anniversary Celebration and grateful to the New York State Division of Tourism for their support," Village of Sleepy Hollow Mayor Martin Rutyna said. "Music lovers who decide to make a weekend of it will find we're much more than a Halloween season destination, as they can enjoy hiking in the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, kayaking on the Hudson, great dining options and so much more."
Sleepy Hollow Music Festival spokesperson Burns Patterson told Patch last December that the festival will kick off at midday with two local favorites: Anthony Giaccio and the Assortments and Clair Maloney and the Great Adventure.
"These bands and performers are known for unforgettable festival performances at venues across the country and internationally," he said, "so it promises to be a great show."
Patterson said the launch of the Sleepy Hollow Music Festival is exciting for many reasons.
"The festival, and its amazing location overlooking the Hudson River in Kingsland Point Park," he said, "will remind visitors that Sleepy Hollow is much more than a Halloween Season destination," with its wonderful riverfront paths and recreation, great dining experiences and more.
Kingsland Point Park, which is located next to the historic Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse and the Sleepy Hollow RiverWalk at Edge-on-Hudson, is within walking distance of two Metro-North Train stops — Tarrytown station and Philipse Manor station. Tarrytown station offers plenty of parking on a Saturday for festivalgoers who may arrive by car (parking fees apply).
The Sleepy Hollow Music Festival is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. in Kingsland Point Park. Tickets can be purchased here.
