Make-A-Wish To Get Stop & Shop Donations During February
The Hudson Valley organization will get $1 from every reusable bag sold at the Tarrytown Stop & Shop.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Buying reusable shopping bags at the Tarrytown Stop & Shop will benefit more than the environment.
Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley was selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of February.
Launched in May 2019, the program is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal of making a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley was selected to receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable community bag is purchased at the Tarrytown Stop & Shop, 610 White Plains Rd., unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
Allyson Curtis, development director of Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, said her organization was grateful to have been selected as the beneficiary of the program.

“The dollars raised locally will help us provide hope, strength and joy to the over 250 children with critical illnesses who are waiting for their wish to come true,” she said.
