Mario Cuomo Bridge Will Light Up With Holiday Spirit
From the winter solstice through New Year's Day, the landmark spanning the Hudson River will sport six new looks.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The Mario Cuomo Bridge is putting on the Ritz for the upcoming holiday, sporting a new look for every occasion, starting on the winter solstice on Dec. 21 until ringing in the New Year in 2024.
The twin-span's architectural features are lit using energy-efficient LED lights. On occasion, the bridge is lit with colors to commemorate important moments and will do so throughout this holiday season until the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve.
Earlier this month, the bridge was illuminated to commemorate Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, as well as the First Day of Hanukkah and Last Day of Hanukkah.
