New BJ's Set To Open In Greenburgh

GREENBURGH, NY — A brand-new BJ’s Wholesale Club is set to open in Greenburgh in Westchester County.

The retailer said its 47th New York store will open for business Friday at 399 Tarrytown Rd., bringing the country-wide total to 232, according to a news release.

BJ's took over the former Kmart space in the Crossroads Shopping Center.

Jorge Cedeno, the Greenburgh store’s club manager, said they are thrilled to be part of BJ’s continued expansion in the state.

“Our team can’t wait to open our doors on Friday and welcome both new and existing members into our brand-new club,” he said.

At the new store, there will be a selection of fresh foods and produce, a deli, household essentials, pet supplies and more. Shoppers can also check out the seasonal items, home decor, fashion for the family, toys and technology.

BJ’s members can choose from shopping in-club and online, through BJs.com and the mobile app. There is also curbside pickup and in-store pickup.

Members can even opt for same-day deliver, getting their groceries delivered right to their door in as little as two hours.

BJ’s Charitable Foundation is committed to support the local community and will be doing so through its Feeding Communities program

The program is a food rescue partnership where BJ’s donates unsold perishable food to Feeding America member food banks, helping to get wholesome food onto the plates of families. In Greenburgh, BJ’s food bank partner is Feeding Westchester.

To date, BJ’s has donated more than 125 million pounds of food including meat, produce, dairy and bakery items to Feeding America member food banks across the company’s footprint.
