Paws Crossed Animal Rescue Partners With Bobby Flay For Cats' Sake
If your furry foodie friend is a fan of the celebrity chef's pet-centric line of culinary creations, it might be a good time to stock-up.
ELMSFORD, NY — A celebrity chef is lending his talents to help rescue animals in the Hudson Valley through a special team-up.
Paws Crossed Animal Rescue just announced their partnership with celebrity chef Bobby Flay and his premium cat food brand, Made by Nacho. The Elmsford-based no-kill, nonprofit animal rescue says that the "collaboration brings together a shared commitment to animal welfare and nutrition, ensuring that every feline at Paws Crossed receives high-quality, chef-crafted meals while they wait for their forever homes."
Founded by Flay and named after his beloved orange Maine Coon, "Nacho Flay," who passed away in October 2023, Made By Nacho focuses on "crafting nutritious, flavorful meals designed to support feline health." Boasting a combination of chef-inspired flavors and nutritionist-approved ingredients, the brand has a reputation as a leader in the premium pet nutrition market.

Paws Crossed says that April 5 will mark the first National Nacho Flay Day and the launch of Made by Nacho in 2021. From now through April, 50 percent of profits will go to Paws Crossed, helping to nourish rescue cats while they wait for their second chance at a loving home. In addition, the partnership will help raise awareness about the importance of proper pet nutrition and the impact it has on feline well-being.
