Police Arrest Man for Alleged Drug Sale

Greenburgh Task Force arrested a 29-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident on a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance

Greenburgh Alcohol and Drug Task Force arrested a 29-year-old resident for criminal sale of controlled substance, report police.

On Jan. 15 at 7:48 p.m., task force members brought the man to Sleepy Hollow Police headquarters for processing. Here the man told Sleepy Hollow police he needed to take his prescription medication but felt fine; Mt. Pleasant medic came to verify and administer his medicine.

Greenburgh officers later reported to Sleepy Hollow police at 9:02 p.m. that they had impounded the man’s car and found narcotics in it.

Bail was recommended at $10,000.

Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp had no further information for the case he said was under open investigation.
