Police: Four Laptops Stolen in Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown

There were several laptops reported stolen from offices and a home spanning both villages recently.

In Tarrytown:

Police responded to a report of an office break-in sometime overnight on May 24 from the fourth floor of 120 White Plains Road. Two laptops were apparently missing. Police discovered that the door had pry marks and requested the detective division to investigate.

Just a half an hour later, a call came in from the third floor of the same building from someone saying a laptop had been stolen from there as well. Police also reported finding pry marks on the door and would further investigate.

In Sleepy Hollow:

On May 26 at noon, a Beekman Avenue resident reported to police that her apartment had been entered the day before and someone had taken her laptop.
