Police: Grand Larceny Debit Card Purchase

The latest grand larceny case in Tarrytown joins several reported thefts exceeding $1,000 this month.

A White Plains Road resident reported to Tarrytown Police finding an unauthorized purchase on her debit card of over $1,000. Police filed a grand larceny complaint on Jan. 15.

This case under investigation joins several recent grand larceny cases in, or related to, the Village this month:

  • A case out of Warner Library for a wallet that went missing.
  • A Tarrytown man accused of stealing thousands of dollars of supplies from Indian Point Nuclear Plant.
  • Fraudulent checks reportedly cashed against a White Street agency’s bank account.
