Police Investigate Vandalism to School Van

Sleepy Hollow Police came upon a school van behind the Sleepy High School on New Year's Day whose door was open and windows broken.

On New Year’s Day at 2:30 p.m., a Sleepy Hollow police officer reported that while checking the high school as part of Operation Safeguard he found the door to a school van open with its two rear windows shattered but still in their frames.

The officer took photos and tried to contact the school but was unable to leave a message as no one answered and no machine picked up. The case is under investigation.
