Rutyna Defeats Wray In Sleepy Hollow Mayoral Race

According to unofficial results, the incumbent mayor came in second in the two-way race.

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — Voters in Sleepy Hollow decided to change who would lead the village.

Incumbent Mayor Ken Wray was defeated by Martin Rutyna, according to unofficial results.

Rutyna, who was running on the Transparent and Accountable Government line, received 56 percent of the votes. Wray, on the Unite Sleepy Hollow line, received 44 percent.

Incumbents Thomas A. Andruss, Jared T. Rodriguez and Denise L. Scaglione ran unopposed on the Unite Sleepy Hollow Party line.
