Shooting In Sleepy Hollows Leads To 1 Arrest: Police
Police said the shooting was not a random act of violence and there was no threat to the community.
SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — A shooting in Sleepy Hollow Tuesday afternoon led to one arrest.
The Village of Sleepy Hollow Police Department said officers responded to the area of Chestnut and Valley streets Tuesday afternoon for a report of someone being shot.
Once on scene, officers were able to confirm that one person had been shot in a private residence, and a suspect had fled.

Police Chief Anthony Bueti said in an update Wednesday that a suspect was taken into custody earlier in the day and was waiting for arraignment in the village court.
“I assure you there is no threat to the community or our schools,” Bueti said.
