Sleepy Hollow Police: Medicated Caller, Theft
Police report several unusual incidents in Sleepy Hollow.

Possibly Theft

A Farrington Avenue resident reported to Sleepy Hollow Police on Dec. 26 at 11:51 a.m. that valuable items that had been stolen from her home. The caller stated it had happened about two weeks prior and she was not sure who did it.
Police Chief Gregory Camp had no further information on the case under investigation.

Dirty Condom
On Dec. 29 at 10:05 a.m. a Dell Street woman reported that an unknown person had entered her apartment and left a used condom on her laundry basket.
Tied Up?
On Dec. 30 at 8:52 p.m., a man reported to police that he was tied up by his stepchildren in what was possibly a gas station on North Broadway. Officers checked area gas stations and found nothing amiss.
Further investigation revealed the caller was a patient in Phelps Medical Center; the nurse stated the patient was medicated and had used his cell phone to call 911 but all was in order.
