Sleepy Hollow To Vote On Trustees, Moving Elections

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — Voters in the village of Sleepy Hollow will be going to the polls Tuesday to pick new trustees and decide whether elections will change to another time of year.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. To find your polling location, go to this website.

There are six candidates running for three open trustee positions.

Incumbents Lauren Connell and Patrick Sheeran are running on the Transparent Accountable Government line. James McGovern, James Husselbee and Matthew Presseau are running on the Unite Sleepy Hollow line and Charles Zekus is running on the We the People line.

Also on the ballot is a proposition asking voters to decide whether to move village elections to the fall of each year to coincide with the general election and primaries.
