A woman suffered minor injuries to her head and face after she was allegedly pushed down to the ground and robbed by a former acquaintance, Tarrytown police said.
A 911 caller reported to police that a female employee at their South Broadway office had been assaulted on Oct. 28 just before 7 a.m.

She suffered bruising to her head and face. Her cell phone was stolen.
The man, Eugene T. Holmes, 50, of Yonkers, had reportedly fled on foot traveling north on Route 9 towards Route 119. Police found him walking eastbound on Route 119 and arrested him in the area of 200 White Plains Road.
Holmes was charged with:
- Robbery in the third degree, a D-Felony,
- Assault in the third degree, an A-Misdemeanor,and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth, an A-Misdemeanor.
