Tarrytown Police Report Drunken Struggle
A West Harrison man was arrested following a struggle in the parking lot alongside Tarrytown Police headquarters.

Tarrytown Police arrested a man they described as "highly intoxicated" and "very combative," following a struggle in the Village Hall parking lot.
An officer on Jan. 19 at 11:52 p.m. reported that an intoxicated man was struggling with a taxi driver in front of headquarters in the Village Hall parking lot alongside a National Taxi.
Officers went out to assist the taxi driver. Officers reported that while assisting the taxi driver, the defendant, who police considered "highly intoxicated" allegedly began yelling obscenities and became combative toward police.

Officers charged Brian Krebs, 22, of West Harrison with
- disorderly conduct,
- resisting arrest,
- and criminal mischief in the fourth degree with intentional damages to property.
Lieutenant William Herguth said the third charge stemmed from Krebs ripping the coat of the arresting officer.

Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps were called to transport Krebs to Phelps Memorial Hospital with an officer on board. At Phelps, the officer requested another officer to come to help with Krebs who was described as “very combative.”
Krebs was transported back to headquarters at 3:40 a.m., where he awaited arraignment. Bail was set at $1,000 with a return court date and Krebs was taken to county jail.
