Tarrytown Prepares For Second Annual Back to School Bash

The Back to School Bash, seeks to bring the entire community together to celebrate the transition from summer to the new school year in an exciting and fun way. Children and their families have an opportunity to connect with one another, as well as district staff and community partners.

“Returning back to school may not be an exciting time for all. The Back to School Bash has become a great way of infusing that excitement into the entire community to set the stage for the upcoming school year,” said Dr. Audrey Brutus, Supervisor of Social Emotional Learning and Community Engagement for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns. “It literally unites the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow communities around one goal - supporting the children and families of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns!”

The event is hosted by the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns and will take place on August 26, 2024, at Patriots Park in Tarrytown from 4-6 p.m. There will be fun and engaging activities, which are made possible by several community partnerships, such as sports stations, inflatables, the Bubble Bus, music, and food. The Back to School Bash is free thanks to numerous community partners.
