These Hudson Valley Restaurants Were Just Honored With 2025 Michelin Stars
In addition, four restaurants in our region were named "Bib Gourmands," and 18 were named "selected restaurants."

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Some of the Hudson Valley's most most beloved dining destinations thrived under the global spotlight.
The 2025 Michelin Northeast Cities ceremony took place in Philadelphia on Nov. 18., at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Honorees represented five regions: Boston, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
"This year marks a momentous occasion for the Northeast Cities to come together and celebrate the exceptional talent across the restaurant communities in these five cities," Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, said. "We are thrilled to celebrate the first-ever selections in both Boston and Philadelphia and welcome several new restaurants into the MICHELIN Star family."

Blue Hill at Stone Barns, maintained its two stars ("excellent cooking, worth a detour") and its green star (sustainability).
"The passion of Chef Dan Barber is at the core of everything here, where a meal is a true experience that uniquely knits together his vision of improving our foodways, the grit of utilizing the land to provide sustenance, and luxurious touches like crisped linens and fine crystal," according to the Michelin Guide. "A procession of dramatically presented, farm-fresh seasonal produce kicks off the meal and may include freshly plucked radishes with browned butter, Hakurei turnips dressed with poppy seeds, and morsels of dried honeypatch squash. While the focus is plant-based, heartier compositions may reveal roasted, retired dairy cow plated with root-to-leaf celeriac. The meal may end celebrating how this operation began; as a dairy, with a tower of milk crumbs, milk jam, panna cotta and ice cream to dress poached quince."
La Bastide by Andrea Calstier, maintained its one star ("high quality cooking, worth a stop").
"Head to this modern farmhouse in Westchester where a soothing design perfectly complements sweeping views of the pastoral landscape. Husband and wife duo Chef Andrea Calstier and General Manager Elena Oliver are at ease in their intimate dining room, a space fit with only a few tables and perfectly calibrated for the tasting to come," the Michelin Guide said. "The menu draws on their upbringing in the south of France. A simple-sounding salad is so much more with grilled gem lettuce paired with poached celtuce, cured egg yolk, and an olive oil sabayon. Squab with rosemary and fig leaf is as accomplished as grilled black sea bass with artichokes and razor clams. Dessert is a particular strength, and the combination of chocolate with goat cheese is a thrilling finale."
