Time To Get 'Down' At Goosefeather's 'Spook-Tacular' Halloween Bash
Food and drink will be available for purchase, and the lawn will be filled with fun activities and hauntingly familiar music.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The annual Halloween party at Goosefeather is back this weekend.
The whole family is welcome, even well-behaved pets, for a fun-filled day of "spook-tacular" activities, according to organizers.
The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Owner and Chef Dale Talde previously told Patch that there are a couple of different routes for a Halloween party: something for adults only or something for the whole family.
"I have two young kids myself, and they love Halloween," he said, "the costumes, the candy and all the festivities that come with it."

Talde said, for him, it was a no-brainer to make Goosefeather’s Halloween party a family-friendly event.
"We wanted to create a fun atmosphere for our community to come together and spend the afternoon with their kids, their friends and their neighbors," he said.

Activities will include lawn games, bounce houses, face painting, costume contests, raffles and music from Goosefeather's resident DJ. A candy hunt will take place at noon promptly.
There will be plenty for the kids to do, and the adults can enjoy great food and drink, as well as lawn games and the DJ, Talde said.
Besides, Goosefeather's outdoor areas will be closing soon for the season, he said.
"So this is a great way to soak up the last days of warm weather," Talde said.
Food and drink will be available for purchase. The menu will include burgers, hot dogs, skewers, wings, snow pea salad, ice cream sandwiches, and more. Complimentary popcorn & hot apple cider will also be available.
Organizers said that the event will take place on the front lawn. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on the rain date of October 27.
Admission is $15 per person, age 10 and up; free for those under 10.
